Today marks the 20th anniversary of World Book Day, a celebration of reading recognized by over 100 countries all over the world.

In the same spirit as “Book Giving Day“, children and reading are at its core.

The main aim of World Book Day in the UK and Ireland is to encourage children to explore the pleasures of books and reading by providing them with the opportunity to have a book of their own.

Thanks to National Book Tokens and lots of lovely book publishers and booksellers, World Book Day, in partnership with schools all over the country, will be distributing more than 15 million £1 World Book Day book tokens to children (that’s almost one for every child/young person under 18 in the UK and Ireland).

However, that is only a small drop in the bucket of millions of children around the world who still need access to books. Why not use this opportunity to help in your community and donate books to needy children in your area?

With so much technology and entertainment at our fingertips, its easy to forget what it’s like to sit quietly and read a book. I find with my busy schedule I gravitate to audio books as I can listen to them while I run errands or work on household chores. However I do find that I remember content better if I read the books myself.

Leave Your Mark

Books are a great way to spark the imaginable and bring characters and stories to life.

In November of 2016, I published my own book, Pajama Paydays : How To Make The Internet Work For you. The book is based on over 10 years of research and took over nine months to write. Though it was time consuming and taxing on my schedule, I feel a great sense of fulfillment knowing that I have shared my top findings with the market, valuable content that will help many readers map out and implement new income strategies.

To make it even easier, I created bonus training content and had a professional voice over artist narrate the book in audio format.

Check out the book and the bonus training content and share with others in your community who can benefit from this training.
